The Author
Hello everyone, my name is Tracie and I am a 17 year old girl. I have brown hair and hazel eyes and am Australian. I love to write, read, webdesign, rock music, swimming, shopping, chocolate cake, watching movies and Disney. I dont like stealers, hackers, posers, spiders, heights, the unknown, scary movies or nasty people. I would like to thank all my readers and friend who have read my novels since the beginning (read history below) and have supported me over these past 2 years (yes its been that long lol). If it wasn't for you guys I wouldnt been still writing now, not knowing if you liked my work or not, even though I know it can be improved.
Writing History
I have been writing for years, when I was little I used to write these corny pony stories when I was obsessed with horses, but ended up writing a series of about 21 short stories. After a while I gave up and got interested in other things, but then when I was in year seven, I began getting interested in writing again. I went through a lot of tough times so I thought I'd write about them, but in a fun way. I read a lot of teen books so I had some ideas from that too, so thats when I wrote my first online novel series starting on Matmice, called TeenageDrama-x, which I eventually moved to freewebs when it closed, but I lost the books minus half of the 3rd one which is still on freewebs, once Matmice closed. That contained 3 books and were based on true events in my life. Then I decided to end that series and work on something different about a year and a half later, my first mystery book. It was based in a high school and involved a theft, I called it UndetectedxTheft, Which sadly got hacked when I was halfway through the novel. I didnt want to re-make the whole site and now I know, I need to keep a backup of my work after it dissappeared, so that was a disaster. A few months later I wanted to work on something that I knew I was good at writing, teen books based on my life. Thats my latest book called, Behind-This-Mask, which is so far my favourite book that I've written, that I'm very proud of. And thats how I got to my 6th novel right now, Murder of Silence. I know I'm still a very novice writer and have a lot to improve, but thats why I keep writing, because I enjoy it and improve every time. Thankyou.
